The bar of this micropub is friendly and lively, with comfortable furniture and a ceiling decorated with flags.
There is a small snug bar area to the rear and a tiny courtyard.
Board games can be played.
Cask ales and ciders were originally sold on gravity dispense from a temperature controlled cellar room which could be viewed through a large window.
However with ownership changes the bar counter has been moved to where the cold room was and ales are now sold on handpump dispense.
The house beer, from Goody Ales, is Firkin Good.
There is original acoustic music from 3 to 5 pm on Sundays.
