700 Year old Public House saved and bought by the Community, which re-opened in May 2018. With a long history. Great artists such as John Constable and Thomas Gainsborough painted the local area and will have frequented the premises back in the 18th Century, giving us the nickname of the "Painter's Pub". As we are a Community Pub now we hold many different events, markets, concerts, parties, meals and are the hub for the surrounding villages. Come along and join us breathe new life into our fantastic Pub and help us write the next 700 years of history
