The Layer Fox offers a warm and friendly welcome to all 2 or 4 legged visitors. Our 16th century pub still has many of the charming aspects of the old building including, old beams, timbers and brickwork while also offering a bright & airy feel with the modern country décor.

Come join us for some good honest pub food or just a drink and chat with a friends, all are welcome. We have fantastic wine, drinks and tea & coffee menus and also serve some fantastic local ales. There are four main areas to the pub; the sun trap at the back of the restaurant on the decking is a must in the summer, the front seating area with abundant plants and gas heaters where you can watch the world go by and of course inside; there is a dog friendly bar area with log burning fireplace and old oak flooring and the main restaurant up a few stairs with high ceilings still carrying on the beams of the old building.
