A traditional community pub on the border of Clitheroe town centre. Lisa and Gary bought the pub in June 2008 and have refurbished many aspects and it is still a work in progress.
Cask ales were introduced shortly after we moved in. We also replaced all the furniture and floors as well as installing new cellar cooling.
The sheltered smoking area is finished with heaters and a TV. New toilets etc. have also been installed.
As well as cask ales we have introduced a variety of bar snacks.
This is a truly traditional public house, not a karaoke style theme bar, a true locals local.
Lisa and Gary will be moving to Spain in December 2018 and while retaining ownership, the pub will be left in the capable hands of Sue.
