We’re a Cosy, truly independent free house, set next to the beautiful River Walkham in Horrabridge. Our small, family-run team prioritises care and warmth for our community, respect for our environment and our ingredients, and a passion for making your visit special. We have a very simple ethos at The Leaping Salmon: we source as much as we can from as close as we can. Our aim is to offer interesting food, drink and accommodation on Dartmoor that is sustainable, ethically conscious, and good value for money.
