Originally located on Workhouse Lane the club provided welcome refreshment to the hardworking Miners and workhouse staff of Norton Canes.
The club is a member of the CIU and has always had a strong committee that looks for new opportunities to take the club forward without losing its Victorian working class history. The club will always consider applications for new memberships and encourages as many people as possible to become involved in the running of the club.
