Once the home of the village wheelwright, the Wheelwright Inn has been at the heart of the community of Colyford for centuries.

Rescued from closure in 2019 by local business partners Sebastian Grabos and Nigel Nidd, this historic inn is now a free house and has been restored to its rightful place as one of the areas prime venues.

​The Wheelwright Inn offers top quality, locally-sourced menu with daily specials and of course a wide range of drinks. Local real ales, draught ciders, top quality wines and a varied selection of spirits.

The Wheelwright offers a large characterful main bar, with Cosy wood burner for those winter days, a separate dining room, games room with pool and darts, plus outside seating on the attractive sunny patio. The spacious Function Room is available to hire for parties and celebrations of all kinds and we can provide a top quality buffet and even have our in house DJ supply the music for your event.
