This building at the heart of the beautiful village of Mortehoe was the vicarage for a few centuries before becoming a pub-hotel in 1820, and it has been sheltering and refreshing visitors just about every day since then.
We’re delighted to continue that tradition of good food, drink and hospitality and everyone here takes a lot of pride in what we do.
As well as ensuring the food that we serve tastes good it’s really important to us to know that it has been ethically and humanely produced, so since March 2012 we have only used British meat and free-range eggs so we can be sure of traceability and high standards of animal welfare.
We are open all year round but currently do not take any bookings so please pop in and call us .
