The Grampus is set in the heart of one Britain’s most picturesque villages. Parts of the building date back to the 14th Century, and until the 1970s, this was a working farm. Now a Free House, it is a favourite with residents and holiday-makers alike. Families are catered for, and walkers and dogs are always welcome.
We value wholesome home-cooked food, so all our dishes are made on the premises and all meat, poultry, fish and eggs are free-range and sourced locally. We do our best to cater for different diets – whether you are vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free or raw – but please speak to us if you are unsure about what is available. We hope you enjoy eating at the Grampus as much as we do!
We don’t just do good food – we also serve real ales from our own brewery, Grampus Gin which is distilled onsite including locally sourced botanicals and our extensive wine list is designed for us by Louis Barroul, a grower of fantastic biodynamic wines which are all excellent value for incredible quality, and our coffee is organic and supplied by Owens with every cup being freshly ground to order.
