We would like to welcome you to The London Inn, St.Maurice, Plympton.
In the heart of St.Maurice, The London Inn is a 16th century pub.
The pub's heritage dates back as it was the main route to London passing the pub. The area also covered in water which sailing boats used to sail up the river (which is now St.Maurice) with trade cargo on their ships.
Plympton Castle is also a main feature of the village which towers over The London Inn. The castle was built by the Saxons in the 9th century AD. The castle was built to defend the area against the Norse raid.
