Fabulous refurbishment of a traditional but run down pub by award winning architects to a quirky blend of old and new. Historical features have been retained wherever possible and combined with unique finishes including dragon sculptures, local artwork and photography of the town and the river that is just 200m away. The G&D now has the biggest and the longest bar in Dartmouth, the largest and only real Beer Garden, plus a separate Coffee Shop with homemade cakes and desserts. Our new kitchen and cellar are both state-of-the-art with equipment and capabilities second to none in the area.
