We’ve got everything you need from a country pub near you.
The King's Head dates back to 1750 when it was known as the White Horse.
The pub was auctioned in 1801, when under the ownership of William Reynolds.
Travellers journeying between Rochford and Brentwood often stopped at the King's Head for refreshment prior to passing through the toll-gate which stood next to the inn.
Our menus are full of hearty favourites and country pub classics, including our steak & mushroom pie and beer-battered fish and chips, as well as seasonal surprises if you’re after something a little different.
We look forward to welcoming you, and we’ll ready with a well-stocked bar, including cask ales, lager, fine wines, British gin and soft drinks to suit every taste — which will taste all the better when enjoyed in our beautiful and picturesque gardens.
