We are a pub and restaurant located near Colchester, Essex. We have recently refurbished and welcome you in to our newest room - The Deck House!

Enjoy home cooked food in a warm atmosphere. We are dog-friendly, and have a huge beer garden which runs along side a captivatingly beautiful pond.

Please be aware that even though we are not on Mersea Island, we are affected by the tide due to traffic piling back.

If you do not live on the island, check the tide timetable. If the tide is predicted to be 5 or more metres, then allow approximately 1 hour before and 1 hour after the peak time.

We are now open again on Monday evenings in the kitchen! We welcome you in to enjoy our home-cooked food, between 6pm and 8pm.
