The Horseshoes is a quiet, friendly country pub and dining room, located in the village of Upshire near Epping Forest. Up shire is easily accessible from Waltham Cross, Waltham Abbey, Loughton and Harlow.
Chef, Mike is responsible for the food, details of which you can find on the menus page . All food is prepared with fresh ingredients daily, we use local suppliers and are proud of the produce we use in all our freshly prepared food. Mike places heavy emphasis on his fresh fish and seafood, all of the best quality, which is supplied to us daily by our fishmonger. He also produces home made soups, traditional English menus and local game recipes. Meat is delivered fresh from Smithfield daily and fruit and veg comes from our local greengrocer. Special menus are available both lunchtime and evenings. For our famous home cooked Sunday lunch you are strongly advised to book a table as we are busy most Sundays.
We hope you come to visit and experience both the friendly atmosphere in the pub and the fine home cooked food available in the restaurant.
