A warm welcome awaits you at The Queen Victoria Public House, home to fine ales and home cooked food.
Established in 1843 when John Garrad bought the land and in 1868 formed the Garrad & Grimston Brewery. Years later Walter Gray took over the Ale House and it has been in the Gray & Son’s family ever since. James, Paul and the team took over the tenancy in 2018 and the pub has become a favourite of customers from around Maldon, Essex and the world!
With lots of events and specials, there is an extensive menu of home cooked food with drinks to match any occasion. From over 100 gins to a large wine list and, of course, not to mention Real Ales and Ciders from locally sourced, regional and national offerings. The pub features in The Good Beer Guide for its beer quality.
We look forward to seeing you.
James and Paul
