About The Station Arms:

is a traditional Essex weather boarded pub, with beer yard and barn to rear, only a two minute walk from Southminster railway station.
Purchased by myself Martin Park, and my partner Marguerite Hill, as a long-standing keg only Whitbread pub in 1991. Quality real ale was available from our first day of ownership in the form of Crouch Best, courtesy of Colin Bocking, Crouch Vale Brewery.
Over 30 years later, we are still serving up to five different quality real ales at any one time.
Adnams Southwold Bitter is currently our “house” beer. With beers from George’s, Crouch Vale, Mighty Oak, Colchester and Bishop Nick featuring regularly, plus occasionally others from further afield. See our Facebook page for the current selection.

At the time of writing, The Station Arms has featured in Camra’s good beer guide for 30 consecutive years.
We have been awarded Maldon and Dengie Camra Pub of The Year on numerous occasions, Essex Pub of The Year twice and East Anglia Pub of The Year once.
We have live music, usually blues, in the pub, which is on the third Saturday of most months, with the occasional live music and BBQ in the yard during the summer months.
Maggie, the main driving force behind the pub's success, sadly passed away in 2020 and we now hold an annual charity event in her memory.
The local folk club meets in the bar on the fourth Thursday of each month.
