Castle Inn, TENDRING, Essex

Welcome to the Castle Inn and Campsite, we are situated on the outskirts of Harwich and Dovercourt in the small country village of Ramsey.

Our camping site is the nearest campsite to Harwich International Ferry Terminal (approximately 2 miles away) and offers a convenient place for a nights stay if you are planning a ferry trip or for those who just want a quiet break away.

Our public house offers a friendly atmosphere where you can enjoy the fine real ales, lagers and ciders that are on offer or relax and dine in our restaurant.

For those who want to venture out, we are approximately 1.5 miles away from our award winning blue flag beach and approximately 4 miles from the historical town of Old Harwich where you can stroll along Ha’penny Pier and around it’s small quaint streets.

We are also within a short drive of the river Stour where you can see it’s stunning views with rolling countryside.
