Very much open for business today, The Stingray has an interesting and perhaps surprising history. As well as being a popular bar, the pub also has bed and breakfast facilities for those seeking a longer stay in the old town.

We have been a family run pub for the last 21yrs, offering excellent B & B in the heart of olde historic Harwich.

We also have the Crown Post restaurant, next door, one of Harwich's best-kept secrets! The restaurant is an English Heritage Building and 600+yr old with full timber frame, vaulted ceiling etc.

We refer to ourselves as a pub for all ages, and boast a wide age range in our customer base. We offer pool, darts, Juke box, Disco's & Live Music at the weekends. We are a traditional pub with modern influence.

As a Freehouse we stock a wide range of real ales, craft beers and ciders from a variety of suppliers and our food is freshly prepared and cooked
