The Rising Sun, THURROCK, Essex

A much-improved, two-bar, traditional pub in the town of Stanford-le-hope. The five guest beers are mainly from independent breweries, including local beers, and up to three ciders or perries are stocked.

We hold regular monthly live music and our beer festivals are held three times a year (spring, summer & winter) with the summer festival held in the pub’s large rear garden.

Family-owned and run for the last 10 years; we pride ourselves on offering a huge variety of seasonal beers.

The pub is very well known for its ever-changing real ale selection, with gravity-fed guest beers sourced from some of the country’s finest micro-breweries sharing the bar with some more established national brands.
