This neat little pub nestles among a number of farms along an unmade, potholed lane.
A one mile walk from either the Royton or Middleton end rewards the drinker with a main bar and lounge area with a separate quiet side room.
A walled rear beer garden and benches to the front and side provide outdoor seating.
Popular with walkers, farmers and locals, dogs are very welcome. No food. House beer, Bumpy Lane is dry hopped Lees Bitter and Lees Boiler house and seasonal beers usually feature.
