Set in leafy Dunham village, the Rope and Anchor is the perfect place to stop by for a relaxing pint and a beautifully cooked hearty meal.
We serve great food and have delicious autumn menu options to suit all occasions, whether it be a quick snack or a leisurely meal.
We offer pub classics, often with a twist, as well as scrumptious seasonal specials on our new autumn menus.
Our bar is stocked with a range of JW Lees’ fine cask ales and lagers like our MPA and Manchester Craft Lager, always featuring seasonal special brews, together with a wide selection of wines, spirits and non-alcoholic beverages for you to enjoy cosying up in our bar.
We’re close by to many fantastic walking and cycling routes, such as the Trans Pennine Trail and Dunham Massey National Trust Park, so if you are exploring locally why not pop in, warm up and grab a bite to eat and a refreshing drink for your onward journey.
Our beautiful barn at The Rope & Anchor is the perfect setting for a special occasion such as an anniversary, birthday or christening celebration.
We also have a great space upstairs on the first floor which features its own bar, perfect for meetings and private dining, as well as smaller group celebrations.
