We are an independent Kitchen & Tap House located in the heart of Southsea. Our name derives from Thomas Croxton, who built the first houses in the area around 1809.
The area subsequently became known as Croxton Town, but in 1857 the town’s name was changed to Southsea, after King Henry’s Southsea Castle.
Located in the old Southsea Post Office we offer craft beer, cocktails, wine and spirits, along with award winning food inspired by our travels from around the world.
Our Sunday lunch was awarded best in the region after a national search held by Unilever Food Solutions.
