About Eight Bells:
Small, traditional local dating from 1708 and rebuilt in 1902, retaining original embossed windows and decorated with memorabilia.
It has the original outside toilets.
There is live music monthly on Fridays, and a quiz, usually on the first Wednesday of the month.
Five darts teams play every week and their trophies are on display.
Roast lunches are served on Sunday lunchtimes, booking advisable.
There is an attractive small walled garden and a comfortable heated smoking area.
