About Captain Howey:

Situated between the Historic Cinque Port Town of New Romney and the sea, opposite the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway station of New Romney.

We offer our guests a fantastic stay with good value accommodation, on site parking a a delicious breakfast.

The Captain Howey is a family run B&B, being run by the Davis family for the past 11 years.

They took it on after it had been shut for quite a while due to management problems.

They invested quite heavily in the property creating all the bedrooms, making them all en-suite, some nice furniture, nice flat TVs and most of all, making the rooms clean and welcoming.

Unfortunately, like the Forth Bridge, as soon as the decorating is finished, it has to start again, although I must say we have been very lucky with our clientele who seem to respect their surroundings.

We are always trying to make life easier for our customers.

We are at the moment in the middle of creating our family suite, which will enable family’s to spend their visit together.

It will also give them the opportunity of making a late night snack in the kitchen area, or watching tv or a DVD together in the lounge area.

This will be ready by May 2019. Those of you who have stayed with us before will know that the breakfasts are served cooked fresh and enough to keep you going for the day.

The full breakfast consisting of cereal to start followed by egg, bacon, sausage, grilled/fried tomato, mushrooms, hash browns, baked beans and toast.

If this is not to your taste please ask and hopefully we will be able to produce something that you will like.

Whether you’re in the area to work or for enjoyment you’ll always find someone to talk to in our bar before dining or retiring to your room.

So give The Captain Howey B&B a try; a warm room and a friendly atmosphere will hopefully make you want to come back and stay with us again.
