The Pepperbox Inn is a charming, 15th century country pub & restaurant with low timbered ceilings and beautiful inglenook fireplaces.
Situated on one of the highest points overlooking the weald of Kent, there are outstanding views which can be appreciated from the large garden terrace.
Originally named The Horseshoes, the pub has been known locally as the Pepperbox for over 200 years, the name being derived from an early type of pistol.
Run by successive generations of the same family since 1958, we offer an experienced warm welcome to customers old and new.
