Under new ownership, The Clifton at Warton was refurbished and rebranded in summer 2019. Formerly the Pickwick Tavern, this pub, restaurant, coffee bar and ice cream parlour is right next to British Aeropsace at Warton, midway between Lytham and Freckleton, and is open daily from 12 noon onwards.
The new coffee bar and deli area is ideal for lunch on the go, whether eat-in or takeaway, or in the main restaurant you can enjoy gastro-style traditional pub food with starters such as Pan-fried tiger king prawns with fresh chilli, garlic butter and white wine, served with a freshly baked roll or Bury black pudding stack on a crostini with sautéed mushrooms and a peppercorn sauce.
Mains include burgers, steaks, pies and curries as well as signature dishes like the Slow-roasted Lamb Henry and their ‘Whale’ fish & chips. Desserts include a range of Wallings ice cream from their very own ice cream parlour.
