The Brown Cow in Chatburn is a recently refurbished traditional pub/restaurant with rural charm and rustic characteristics, located in the heart of the Ribble Valley.
Catering for all tastes, our menu is available for lunch and dinner and offers everything from light bites to a traditional Sunday roast with all the trimmings. We offer smaller portions for children and the ever changing ‘Specials’ menu offers a selection of pies, fresh fish and steaks.
The food is simple and hearty, the steak pudding and fish and chips have been described by our customers as second to none.
We pride ourselves on local real ales and fine wines with the gin bar offering a selection of over 40 gins.
The Brown Cow offers a warm welcome in all seasons, either relax in the sheltered, sunny beer garden with large patio area, perfect for those warm summer evenings or Cosy up by the open fire.

A pre-order menu is available for larger parties or a choice of buffet food by prior arrangement.
We welcome every member of the family including your beloved furry friend - after all they’re family too! We just ask you to keep them on the hard floored area of the bar and keep four paws on the floor!
