More to it than the name
We had to check this pub out, if only for its name. We were informed that it’s from a Lewis Carroll poem, so there you go.
I was particularly impressed with their extensive craft beer selection but they seemed to carry a lot of everything. You’re a whiskey drinker? No problem. Gin is your tipple? There’s several to choose from. The staff are really knowledgeable about the drinks too and let me sample a couple before choosing.
I had the steak and ale pie and they were right when they said they didn’t scrimp on the mash. It was delish.
