A locals' pub with comfortable seating having been recently refurbished following its sales by Enterprise Inns around 2010, although there is still much evidence of its Courage antecedents. There is picnic style seating both front and rear, the latter of which boasts a smoking shelter. A menu of good value pub food is on the chalkboard and is available daily from Noon until 10.30pm. There are TVs in both bars showing sport or Dave, with a pool table in the sports bar and a dart board in the main bar as the establishment participates in the Monday league. There is live music once a month.
