The Herne is an authentic Victorian pub with a huge Beer Garden, situated on Forest Hill Road in East Dulwich, opposite Peckham Rye Common.
There are real fires and original paneling in the bar & dining area, plus a conservatory.
Four real ales are available on draught and the wine list has plenty of options by the glass. When it comes to eating, expect to find some good old classic dishes alongside more contemporary options. Nothing too fancy — we’re a pub! — but proper food made from great ingredients.
As any real pub should, we host a Pub Quiz on a Sunday evening with prize money to be won! And also, we have recently started a Jazz spectacular on a Saturday afternoon!
