There's more to The Volunteer than atmospheric interiors. Nestled at the top end of Baker Street, just a stone's throw from the Sherlock Holmes museum and beautiful Regent's Park, this is one central London pub determined to maintain its unique take on character. Why not put the world to rights over a bottle of sauvignon blanc or perfectly kept pint of cask ale? Keep an eye out, though, for an eerie figure dressed in a surcoat, breeches and lavish stockings (we'll leave that story for our bar-staff to tell).
