Liverpool Brewing Company was born out of a desire to make both classic cask beers and cutting edge craft beers – in cask, keg and can – for everywhere, and everyone.
Karl, our brewer, has won scores of CAMRA awards and three of his beers were given Gold Silver and Bronze in the 2021 SIBA awards. What he doesn’t know about making great beer for isn’t worth knowing.
Our core business is cask beer, most of our output is available in keg – plus the “core four” LBC beers are available in bottle, filled on-site, while we’ve recently started to can our craft range.
We are “SALSA +beer” certified, meaning you can have total confidence in our beers being made to the highest standards and quality, and we proudly use UK malted barley as the base for our brews alongside the best hops from all over the world.
Gazza, formerly of Steel City, Hopcraft and Team Toxic, is now collaborating with us to make both the core ranges and an increasingly diverse and interesting parade of “one off” and occasional beers; these include concepts as diverse as hazy hoppy pale ales to fruited cheesecake IPAs via pretty much anything in between. Like Karl he has won many awards for his beer.
He has instigated a policy of “permanent revolution” to the brewing processes and recipes insofar as we never rest on our laurels, and feel there are always improvements to be made, however minor, to the beers to get them to be the very best we can.
Gazza has been involved in a huge variety of customer facing activities – such as meet the brewer, tap takeover, talks, flavour training and homebrew judging – so if us coming to your venue with a load of beer to talk to your customers sounds like a thing, then get in touch.
