The Jug & Bottle, a traditional pub with rooms nestled away in the heart of Heswall on the Wirral peninsula.
"The Jug" as it's affectionately called by our regulars is a stone's throw from the hustle & bustle of Heswall, hidden up behind the village hall & library.
Our bar has a buzzy feel to it with a few of Heswall’s great and good popping in for a pint.
We’ve also got a quieter side for a more relaxed or intimate meal. Whilst she might not be prettiest of pubs from the outside once you’re in you’ll feel right at home.
The Jug is full of character with open fires and different Cosy areas to hide away in.
In the sunnier months we have a fantastic large decking overlooking the surrounding gardens with glimpses of the Dee Estuary and North Wales through the trees.
Our bar serves a great selection of local beers along with some cracking wines from all over the world.

Our hearty homemade menu offers an array of delicious British classics as well as seasonal specials taking influences from all around the world and showcasing them in a true British style.
The pub has nine en-suite guest bedrooms upstairs, so should you over indulge or are visiting the Wirral for business or pleasure, the Jug & Bottle offers an ideal base.
We’re within half an hour of both Liverpool & Chester and just 5 minutes off the M53.
