The Maypole Yorkshire Dales Limited, CRAVEN, North Yorkshire

The Maypole Inn at Long Preston is a lovely, 1600’s Dales Country Inn with 5 cosy en-suite rooms decorated in a chic and contemporary style, friendly restaurant, & log fires it is located on the southern edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, only 4 miles from Settle and 11 miles from Skipton.

We are perfectly positioned between the Yorkshire Dales National Park, the Forest of Bowland and the Southern Lakes.

Food is served every day from 12 noon onwards Monday to Sunday and you can expect traditional pub food with varied specials and some delicious homemade puddings. Mains include signature dishes such as Braised Lamb Shank in Mint and Escalope of pork in Pernod, cream, mushrooms and basil as well as favourites like Beef & Ale pie, Yorkshire ham and eggs and Breaded Scampi.

There’s a cosy fire inside or you can drink and dine al fresco when the weather permits.

The Maypole has live entertainment on a monthly basis and regular bingo and quiz nights.

There are plenty of countryside activities to do and interesting places to visit in all weathers.
