The Railway which ran for 100 years and was closed in 1965 is now a very popular scenic off-road walk between Scarborough and Whitby and is used by hikers, dog walkers, horse riders and cyclists. This will bring you to the doorstep of the Inn for well deserved refreshments.
People taking part in The Cleveland Way Coastal walk regularly use the Inn as an overnight stop off as it is less than 1/4 mile from the coastal path.
