Recently bought back under management by Castle Rock, The Newshouse is a traditional pub located just a few minutes walk from Nottingham train station. It is known for serving a great range of incredibly well-kept real ale and has been listed in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide for many years.
The distinctive, blue-tiled building is comprised of two rooms, divided by a central bar. To the right you will find numerous traditional games, including darts and bagatelle, alongside the only bar billiards in the city. Sports are often shown on the big screen. To the left, a bar area is a relaxing spot to enjoy a quiet drink.
Home to D-Grilled Dhaba Kitchen, Desi street food is now served from the Newshouse’s kitchen. Choose from authentic Desi recipes such as lamb seekh kebab and chicken tikka, or keep it classic with a burger and chips.
On the bar you’ll find up to 11 cask beers and up to five craft keg beers, alongside a full menu of lagers, ciders, spirits, wines and soft drinks.
