About The Glebe:

The Glebe is a beautiful Victorian pub set in the heart of old Stoke Town adjoining the city’s magnificent Civic Centre building, designed by Henry Ward in 1834. Also, the majestic Stoke Minister is just across the road so the pub is rather dwarfed by all this grandeur, but the effect is to magnify the pubs quality and it’s stubbornness to survive.

Our Tap is a grand and stately corner pub of its day with beautiful stained-glass windows attributed to William Morris, now beautifully restored by Paul Georgiou a master craftsmen from Erdington. At the very heart of our Taphouse estate, the Glebe is our pride in Stoke town, just a 5 minute walk away from Stoke on Trent station with ample town parking just a minute’s walk away. A highlight of the pub is its quirky deli counter which offers a marvellous array of cheeses, cold meats and nibbles a perfect lunch time stop for pork pie, a pint and the paper. You’re certainly spoilt for a spot to perch in the Glebe with a large front and back bar spacious but with comfortable seating, leather armchairs in front of the fire and to the rear of the pub a beautifu lsecret town beer garden with benches.

Always on Tap, Joule’s Pale Ale, Slumbering Monk, Pure Blonde and our english craft lager Green Monkey, alongside our rotating seasonal ale and cold craft beer. All brewed in Market Drayton with pure Shropshire mineral water.

Don’t miss, live music nights every Tuesday
