The Prince of Wales Taconistas Leaf, BIRMINGHAM, West Midlands

Taconistas is a street food operation based in the Prince of Wales pub. Set up by 3 friends, using their own inspirations from traveling and working across the world.

At the foundation of Taconistas we believe in working with the best suppliers we can. Our meat is from local farms. We currently use Dunwood Farm, who are based in Staffordshire. Our tortillas are corn not flour, plus they are GMO and gluten free.

Currently our menu is inspired by Mexico. Our Tomatillo Salsa is made by following an authentic Mexican recipe. We use many authentic Mexican ingredients. Our Marinades use Achiote paste as a base, achiote paste is a Mexican condiment that gets its main flavour from annatto seeds.

Taconistas is about creating the best tacos we can and serving it in the Prince of Wales Beer Garden. Every month we will change the menu and create new tacos for you to try.
