A traditional country pub in the picturesque historic village of Heptonstall, close to Hebden Bridge.
With cobbled streets, a churchyard with a ruined Norman church and its Victorian replacement, plus one of the oldest octagonal Methodist chapels still in use, the White Lion is part of the ancient village, with parts dating to the 1500s.
We have a selection of hand-pulled real ales, alongside lagers, cider and wines, and a range of spirits.
With an excellent choice of home-cooked pub fayre, vegetarian options and daily specials menu, together with an eclectic mix of friendly staff and customers, we're sure you'll love your visit! We also have a lovely, sunny beer garden to the rear, and we're dog friendly too!
