We are situated in the old Historical Market Town of Rothwell at an ideal corner location in the pedestrian precinct with a sun-trapped outdoor seating area for the good weather, we also have the benefit of an adjacent free car park.
We are a one of the most community orientated pubs in Rothwell who continually support many local charities.
We are a family run pub in Rothwell owned and managed by Mark supported by his daughter Ashleigh and wife Tracy along with a team of staff who together help to encourage a real sense of community from the Hare and Hounds.
We have a Five Star Food Hygiene rating and serve traditional home cooked pub food in Rothwell along with traditional cask ales, beers, ciders, wines, cocktails, speciality teas, coffee and a wide range of soft drinks.
The Hare and Hounds cater for all types of functions and provide event catering in Rothwell for all occasions, including funeral teas, christenings, weddings, birthday parties, engagement parties and such like. (Buffets for up to 100)
We hold different entertainment evenings throughout the week, including all Sky Sports matches, speciality food nights, general knowledge quizzes, Halloween discos, karaoke and disco nights.
