The Malt Shovel is friendly ,family orientated pub with warm fires in winter and in the summer you can enjoy the long summer evenings on our patio, or in our large garden.

The Malt is a large handsome hill-top pub originally built 1853, now cut off from rest of Bradford Rd by new route of the A650 but visitors to the local garden centre or on the main commute into Wakefield can't miss our kids playing area and adventure Castle.
