A popular pub very handy for all the town centre amenities.
Housed in the former New Regent cinema, built in 1920, it still retains its fine brick and stone frontage.
The bar, along the right hand wall serves this open plan pub.
However, it is divided into four distinct areas on different levels, giving it more character.
Part of the J D Wetherspoon estate. Opens 8am for service of food, alcohol available from 9am.
A refurbishment in late November 2015 included a repaint making the pubs interior appear much lighter along with extra seating.
