The Eagle & Child, BURY, Greater Manchester

The Eagle and Child is a large and friendly food-serving pub in Whitefield. With timber-cladding on the outside of the pub, inside you’ll find a lounge, separate dining area and more traditional, sports orientated tap-room. There’s an excellent beer garden at the back looking onto a beautiful bowling green.

Just down the road from the brewery, you’ll get a fantastic, well-priced pint at the Eagle and Child where you can choose from a number of real ales, lagers and other beers. There’s also a good choice of wines and spirits at the central bar. If you’re looking for food, the Eagle and Child serves a range of good quality dishes from burgers and pies to vegetarian options, jacket potatoes and a Sunday Roast.
