Ye Olde Mustard Pot is a charming country style pub located in the quaint village of Midhopestones.
Originally built in 1760 the building features exposed stone walls, low beamed ceilings and three open fires. The pub was formally know as The Barrel and then locally as The Club Inn before a extensive refurbishment in 2001, saw it renamed Ye Olde Mustard Pot. Split into several sections the inside of the building offers space for all types of occasions. The main bar area offers informal dining in a relaxed and comfortable setting. Our private dining area is ideal for anyone hosting a special occasion or family gathering.
Our comfortable lounge area offers soft seating, a real fire and stunning views over the local countryside, whilst our restaurant offers a more formal dining experience. The pub boosts three double en suite rooms, again all offering splendid views. The rooms have an historic feel with exposed stone and wooden beams. All the rooms offer an en-suite bathroom with shower cubicle and include tea and coffee making facilities, TV's. hair dryers and toiletries. Both the pub and our bedrooms are dog friendly.
Ye Olde Mustard Pot is a family run pub with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Our food is all homecooked and freshly made using local suppliers. So whether you choose to join us for dinner or simply enjoy breakfast during your stay we are sure you will appreciate our passion for quality. Our bar offers a wide range of drinks including a selection of local real ales, the perfect refreshment after exploring the beautiful local surroundings.
