We are situated in the historic village of Portchester in the shadows of Portchester Castle and St.Mary's church.

There are some beautiful walks nearby to enjoy around the castle and along the Portchester shoreline.

We welcome families and as owners of dogs ourselves we are pleased to offer a dog friendly pub allowing them anywhere in the lower bar area and in our outside seating area.

We are a pub that supports local suppliers as much as we can for produce, our meat comes from Starr Butchers in Emsworth, M&J Seafood provides our fish from Farnham,

The Fruit Basket in Gosport for fruit & vegetables, Medina from the Isle of Wight for a range of local produce and ice-cream from the New Forest.

We offer a range of local ales to support some of the smaller ale brewers.
