Great atmosphere
The Peasant serves great food, especially on a Sunday when I always go - and they’re not stingy with the horseradish. I love the “thrum” of the place; it’s kind of noisy, but in a good way. There’s a socking great fireplace with a roaring fire going in winter. It gets pretty busy so I’d recommend booking. I love the mad decor all over the walls and the service has always been great. The scotch egg starter is simple but delicious. Highly recommend.
