About The Queens Head:

Queens Head, family friendly pub on the old A5 Watling Street, stands in the heart of Wilnecote, welcomes locals and visitors alike. Queens Head is a vibrant, character pub, recently refurbished and extended. Many of its original features still remain and date back around 600 years, and is reputed to be one of the oldest Inns in England.

The pub has been associated with the notorious highwayman Dick Turpin. Turpin and his famous horse Black Bess, were regular visitors. Turpin`s look out post can still be seen in the corner of Dick`s Room, as it is still called today.

There is a recently extended play area and improvement to the Beer Garden.

We are also proud to be a dog friendly establishment , with treats and plenty of water bowls for our thirsty pets.

We are also pleased to support several local charities with regular donations.
