A quintessential independent British country pub in the Surrey Hills; family-owned and family-run.

Since 2017 Brad and Charlotte have been the proud owners and managers of The Abinger Hatch. Based at the heart of the Surrey Hills in Abinger Common, between Dorking and Guildford, we are nestled amongst beautiful woodlands with wonderful walks in every direction, and we have ample parking to visit us and then explore the local area. We are a little off the beaten track, but well worth the detour!

Family and dog-friendly throughout you can choose to eat and drink in our pub’s Cosy restaurant, with two log-burning fires, or enjoy our extensive garden, with a patio seating area, ample bench seating, or relax in our extensive tipi to while away the long summer hours. In the winter we also have roaring log fires and blankets in the tipi to make the most of the time we can spend with friends and family regardless of the cold nights.
